Setting Heating Modes & Temperatures on the Ecostrad iQ WiFi Heating Element

These towel rails come pre-filled with thermal fluid. The element will arrive separately and must be fitted by an electrician. Please ensure that you have both the heater and the element before booking a contractor. The element can be fitted in either side of the rail.

Radiators and towel rails for bathrooms, cloakrooms and wet rooms must be professionally installed by a qualified electrician and are not sold as a DIY product. Always defer to the manufacturer's guidelines about the bathroom suitability of any product.

The fitted depth of this towel rail is 85mm.

Please allow an additional 82mm to the length of the unit once the heating element has been fitted.

Please note: open windows, extractor fans and covering a towel rail, can all impact the heater’s ability to warm a space effectively. Room humidity may also decrease the heat output of your electric towel rail, reducing its effectiveness as a towel dryer.
Warranty

Ecostrad Fina-E iQ WiFi Electric Towel Rails come with a 5 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty on the towel rail and a separate 2 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty on the element.

WiFi Heating Element

Supplied with the Ecostrad iQ WiFi Heating Element, the Fina-E iQ enables you to control your heating through your smartphone from anywhere in the world. Simply download the user-friendly Ecostrad Ecosystem or SmartLife App onto your phone, pair it with the element via WiFi and access a range of intuitive features. This includes open window detection, easy temperature adjustment and 24/7 programming, which allows you to set a weekly schedule based on your routine. Select between Comfort or Eco mode for hourly intervals of constant heating, with a set temperature range of 7-30 °C.

The element sports a modern, flatscreen display with touch sensitive buttons, for easy manual control when you aren’t using WiFi. It comes with an internal radiator thermostat and room thermostat, accurate to ± 0.5 °C, providing precise temperature readings for more efficient heating. The internal thermostat engages on ‘Radiator’ mode and allows you to control the internal temperature of the appliance. This means you can select a Low Surface Temperature setting which reduces the radiator temperature to as low as 30 °C, which is perfect for NHS buildings or homes with young children where a lower heat level is required.

Energy-Saving Heating

The Fina-E iQ has been filled with thermal fluid that comes with heat-retentive properties. This provides energy-efficient warmth as the thermal fluid stays warmer for longer, using less energy to maintain the same level of heat. With slower cool down times, the Fina-E iQ continues to emit warmth even after it has stopped drawing power from the wall.

Installation

As with all electric towel rails and bathroom heaters, Ecostrad Fina-E iQ WiFi Electric Towel Rails must be installed by a professional, however, a lengthy callout should not be necessary as this is usually a straightforward task. The element will arrive separately and must be attached by your electrician – please ensure you have both parts before booking a contractor.
