Terma MOA Blue Heating Elements must be hardwired by a professional electrician. They are not suitable for DIY fitting. Before purchasing, always make sure that the wattage you choose matches the BTU output of your heater. Any heater used with the MOA Blue element must be filled with an appropriate fluid medium. The MOA Blue can be used as part of a dual-fuel system – please see the element manual for further details.

MOA Blue elements are designed for use with electric radiators but can also be used in towel rails if you need a higher level of control for your bathroom heating system. If you require basic thermostatic control for a towel rail, please see our range of non-Bluetooth Terma MOA elements.

These electrical elements are rated IPX5 which makes them suitable for use in zones 2 and 3 of bathrooms. Always defer to the manufacturer’s guidelines about the bathroom suitability of any product.

Terma MOA Blue heating elements come with Bluetooth connectivity so you can control your electric radiator using a smartphone or tablet. All you need to do is download the Terma Blueline heating app to your phone, pair it to the MOA Blue elements in your system and enjoy total control from a convenient point of use. The app provides access to 24/7 programming to help you tailor your heating around your daily life, as well as energy-usage statistics to slimline your running costs even further. The MOA Blue has internal and external temperature sensors to give you more freedom when it comes to programming: you can either create a heating schedule using your room’s ambient temperature as the target, or you can program with the radiator’s internal heat levels in mind.

When you’re not programming your MOA Blue elements via Bluetooth, you can also control them manually using their simple push-button interface. The control panel of the element allows you to cycle through 5 heat levels and access a 2-hour timer function for a short boost of heat. If you’re using the app, the timer can be adjusted in smaller increments, ranging from 1 – 240 minutes to help you save energy.

The Terma MOA Blue electric heating element uses a pulsing heat delivery, switching off for a rest period every 20 seconds to help protect the lifespan of the element. This provides a more even distribution of warmth and also prevents the element from overheating.

MOA Blue heating elements must be installed by a professional electrician and can be wired into an external control system if desired. The MOA Blue is best suited to electric radiators but can also be used in towel rails for precision bathroom heating control. In both instances, the MOA Blue can be used as part of a dual-fuel system – please see the installation manual for details. We offer MOA Blue elements in a range of wattages so you can replace an old element like-for-like. Before purchasing, always ensure that the element has an appropriate wattage for your heater’s size.
