Herschel Select Under Desk Infrared Heating Panels are designed for easy plug-and-play fitting. Each unit comes with a 1.3m cable, a UK fitted plug and everything you need to attach the feet to the base of the panel.
The feet simply screw into place at the bottom of the heater to turn it into a portable unit. Please note that this product is designed to act as a freestanding heater only and not as a wall mounted solution. The screws for the feet must be tightened against the rear side of the panel; tightening them against the front will damage the heated surface.
This infrared panel reaches temperatures up to 90 °C so please ensure that you adhere to the manufacturer’s recommended clearance distances, namely 300mm away from any solid objects. The heater must not be obstructed by large items, such as bags and office storage, as they will prevent it from achieving its maximum spread of warmth.
The Herschel Select Under Desk Infrared Heating Panel comes with an IP44 rating which protects it against splashing water but is not suitable for use in bathrooms. For safety reasons, portable electric heaters should not be used anywhere where they could be exposed to water.

It provides long-lasting warmth that mimics your own body heat for total comfort whenever you’re sat at your desk. As well as providing a better quality of warmth compared to a fan heater, this infrared panel is also far more efficient, costing just 3p to run per hour.
Control Features
Herschel Select Under Desk Infrared Heating Panels are ready for WiFi control the moment they’re plugged in – all you have to do is download the Smart Life app to your phone and pair it to the heater. Once you’ve set up the app, you can make a detailed weekly heating schedule and set custom start times and temperatures down to the minute. Through the app, you can also access a 24-hour timer function, as well as holiday, manual and override modes. If you prefer a more hands-off approach, the Smart Life app is Alexa and Google Home compatible so you can change temperatures with nothing but your voice.
This infrared heater comes with the option of basic manual control, and by using the buttons on the rear of the panel, you can increase or decrease the set temperature depending on your preference. When used manually, the Select under desk heater simply warms at a constant temperature. You can also switch it on and off using the foot button so you don’t even need to reach down to interact with the heater.
