These towel rails come pre-filled with thermal fluid. The element will arrive separately and must be fitted by an electrician. Please ensure that you have both the heater and the element before booking a contractor. The element can be fitted in either side of the rail.
Radiators and towel rails for bathrooms, cloakrooms and wet rooms must be professionally installed by a qualified electrician and not sold as a DIY product. Always defer to the manufacturer’s guidelines about the bathroom suitability of any product.
The fitted depth of this towel rail is 106mm.
Please note: open windows, extractor fans and covering a towel rail can all impact the heater’s ability to warm a space effectively. Room humidity may also decrease the heat output of your electric towel rail, reducing its effectiveness as a towel dryer.

The Ecostrad Vanto Electric Towel Rail takes a cleaner, more understated approach to contemporary bathroom heating. Its evenly spaced flat bars create a balanced, streamlined look that’s luxurious and modern, making it an easy fit for everything from minimalist en-suites to larger family bathrooms. Finished in polished chrome or matt black, the Vanto brings practical warmth and everyday towel storage together in a design that feels sleek, spacious and effortlessly contemporary.
The Vanto’s open-sided layout makes towels far easier to hang, remove, and rearrange throughout the day – particularly useful in busier households where convenience matters just as much as appearance. Its reversible design also allows the rail to be installed with the open side facing either left or right, helping it work more naturally around your bathroom layout and available wall space.
Take control of your heating from anywhere with advanced WiFi functionality. Using the Ecostrad Ecosystem or Smart Life app, you can adjust temperatures, create 24/7 schedules, and activate Boost mode all from your smartphone. Comfort, Eco, Anti-Frost and Holiday modes make it easy to tailor heating around your lifestyle, while Smart Life compatibility also enables hands-free voice control through compatible smart speakers.
The Vanto TriQ is fitted with the innovative Ecostrad TriQ WiFi Heating Element – an industry-first design featuring an adaptive LCD touchscreen with portrait and landscape display modes. Its sleek minimalist interface combines intuitive swipe gesture control with precise heating management, offering both room thermostat control and internal towel rail temperature adjustment. This also enables Low Surface Temperature heating, restricting the surface temperature to 30 °C for safer everyday use.
Designed for smarter, more flexible heating, the TriQ includes a boost mode, weekly programming, open window detection, child lock protection, and more energy-saving features to help maximise efficiency.
Suitable for zones 2 and 3, the Vanto features an IPX4 rating for excellent protection against moisture and splashes. It also comes supplied with all fixtures and fittings for straightforward installation. Please note this towel rail must be hardwired into a fused spur by a qualified electrician.
