The Ecostrad TriQ WiFi Heating Element is supplied with a fitted plug for straightforward DIY installation in standard spaces. For bathroom installations, the element must be professionally hardwired by a qualified. Before purchasing, always ensure that the wattage selected is suitable for the heat output of your radiator or towel rail.
The element is designed for use with Ecostrad designer radiators and towel rails filled with an appropriate glycol-based thermal fluid. It must remain fully submerged in the heating medium during operation; otherwise, the element will automatically cease functioning.
With an IPX4 splashproof protection rating, the Ecostrad TriQ WiFi Heating Element is suitable for use in bathroom zones 2 and 3 when installed correctly. Always refer to the appliance manufacturer's guidance regarding bathroom suitability.
Please note: Ecostrad cannot guarantee that any given radiator will work effectively with the element and are therefore not responsible for the performance of the TriQ WiFi Element in non-Ecostrad radiators. Always check with the radiator manufacturer to ensure the product is suitable for use with the Ecostrad element.

The display automatically dims after a period of inactivity, while built-in child lock protection helps prevent unwanted adjustments.
Energy-Saving Features
Alongside precise room temperature control, the TriQ also features a dedicated radiator mode, allowing independent management of the radiator's internal temperature. This includes adjustable maximum fluid temperature settings and a Low Surface Temperature option for safer heating. A precision thermostat accurate to ±0.5 °C ensures stable comfort, while weekly temperature monitoring helps provide greater visibility over heating performance.
The TriQ also includes open window detection, an energy-saving feature that automatically responds to sudden temperature drops by temporarily reducing heating output.
