The Ecostrad Standard Element must be hardwired by a professional electrician and is not suitable for DIY installation. Before purchasing, always make sure that the wattage you choose is equivalent to the BTU output of your heater.

The element is designed for use with electric towel rails and radiators that are filled with an appropriate glycol-based, liquid heating medium. It must be fully submerged in the thermal fluid when in operation, otherwise the element will cease functioning.

The Ecostrad Standard Element comes with an IP68 splashproof protection rating, making it fit for use in zones 2 and 3 of any bathroom. Always defer to the manufacturer’s guidelines about the bathroom suitability of any product.

Please note: Ecostrad cannot guarantee that any given radiator will work effectively with the element and are therefore not responsible for the performance of the Standard Element in non-Ecostrad radiators. Always check with the radiator manufacturer to ensure the product is suitable for use with the Ecostrad element.
