Opus IR Infrared Wall Panels are part of Ecostrad’s premium range of infrared products, offering reliable all-day heating from a sophisticated, elegant source. They have a 25mm deep frameless body and a crisp white finish for a modern aesthetic that will elevate any interior. This 900w model can warm up to 18m² and makes an excellent option for larger rooms that need energy-efficient heating.

Opus infrared panels warm spaces using radiant heat, which is absorbed by the brickwork of your property to bring rooms up to comfort temperature. It doesn’t rely on the surrounding air to transfer warmth so no heat is lost through draughts. This means your rooms stay warmer for longer, using less energy in the process. On the inside of the panel is a carbon crystal film element that efficiently emits warmth into the room, and to prevent heat loss to the wall, the Opus also contains a layer of polyurethane insulation at the rear. The elements are covered in a special fire-resistant, patented coating which protects the appliance and also increases heat conduction.

The remote control supplied with each Opus IR panel acts as both the room thermostat and the programmer, allowing you to set a custom weekly schedule using its digital interface. You can set an interval Monday to Friday to create start and finish times for your heating during the working week, and set intervals for Saturday and Sunday separately. It also provides access to a comfort override option, as well as open window detection and adaptive start functions. Each remote can be used with any number of Opus IR panels so you can have multiple heaters follow the same routine. If you would prefer to use the heater manually or with an external controller, you can simply use the bypass switch on the rear of the panel which gives you the option of changing your control preference further down the line.
