This radiator is designed for easy DIY installation and comes with a fitted plug as well as all of the fixtures and fittings required for wall mounting. A template will be supplied with the unit to show you where to drill the holes for the brackets, then it’s a case of screwing them into the wall and mounting the unit into place. Alternatively, optional feet can be purchased separately, for freestanding installation. Please note that the Ecostrad iQ Ceramic electric radiator is not suitable for installation in bathrooms.
Care must always be taken when connecting multiple radiators or heaters to avoid overloading the ring main of your property. If you are unsure, contact a qualified electrician for advice. For a professional installation, cables can be shortened and the heater connected to the mains supply by a fused spur. This work must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
These electric heaters can be controlled via WiFi using a compatible mobile device. Please note that the units require a clear WiFi signal to receive commands. In certain areas of the home which receive poor signal, an additional WiFi booster may be required. The maximum indoor WiFi range for the iQ Ceramic is 10m.

The Ecostrad iQ Ceramic Low delivers everything customers love about our bestselling smart radiator – now in a reduced-height design built specifically for conservatories. Available in two high wattages, it provides dependable warmth where it’s needed most, all while fitting neatly onto dwarf walls. With the same advanced ceramic core, WiFi-ready control system, intuitive touchscreen display and effortless DIY installation, the iQ Ceramic Low Electric Radiator brings premium, energy-efficient comfort to spaces in need of a space-saving solution.
The iQ Ceramic is a smart electric radiator that gives you 3 different ways to customise your heating. Program it manually using its sleek touchscreen control panel, take advantage of its WiFi connectivity by using the app or a smart speaker, or make use of the in-built motion sensor that only heats when it detects movement in the room. The iQ Ceramic is compatible with the Ecostrad Ecosystem & Smart Life apps which allow you to program your radiators from your smartphone. No additional accessories are needed to access WiFi control – just pair your home WiFi to the app for effortless heat management.
The CeramiQ heat lock technology inside this electric radiator is what makes it so energy efficient. All the heat it generates is absorbed deep into the heat-retentive ceramic core, allowing the radiator to stay warm over longer periods so it uses less energy. These plates heat up quickly but are slow to cool, so they continue to emit warmth for up to 40 minutes or more without power. Its aluminium body, which is more conductive than steel, allows heat to effectively and quickly diffuse into the room. The whole system is safeguarded by a thermal limiter at the top of the radiator which monitors the core temperature and will cut power to the unit if it exceeds the set limit.
Every feature of the iQ Ceramic has been carefully developed to make saving energy easier and more intuitive than any other electric radiator on the market. Fitted with a silent TRIAC thermostat that's accurate to ±0.5 °C, it doesn't click when turned on and off and provides precise and effective warmth whenever you need it. With boost mode, temporarily change the temperature without affecting your schedule. Excellent for ad-hoc heating, the previous schedule will resume as normal once the boost has finished – no micromanaging required. With the Smart Life app, you can also monitor your energy usage, giving you the tools you need to cut down on waste. Whether you prefer hands-on control or set-and-forget convenience, the iQ Ceramic guarantees efficiency on every level.
The new and improved motion sensor enhances your heating schedule in program mode, meaning you benefit from smarter, more flexible heating. So, if you’ve set your radiator to turn on at 5pm but plans change last minute, the motion sensor will detect that no one’s home and dynamically reduces the heat, eventually switching to a low-energy mode until you return. It’s a clever way to save energy without constantly adjusting your settings. The motion sensor can also enhance manual mode – perfect for spaces like guest rooms or conservatories that don’t need a regular schedule.
Designed for easy wall mounted installation, the Ecostrad iQ Ceramic electric radiator comes with a UK plug and all fixtures required for a secure fitting. It has a slimline body at just 80mm deep and an elegant minimalist look that isn’t broken up by obtrusive display panels, buttons or lights.
