The Ecostrad Icon iQ is suitable for DIY installation. It comes with a standard UK plug as well as all fixtures and fittings needed for wall mounted installation, including mounting brackets. An electrician or plumber is not required unless a hardwired fitting is needed. When installing an electric radiator, always defer to the manufacturing guidelines.

The Icon iQ has an IP20 rating which does not protect it from the ingress of water. This means it cannot be used in bathrooms or any other spaces close to a water source, as there is the temptation to hang towels over the appliance to dry, which can obstruct ventilation on the heater and cause a hazard.

Care must always be taken when connecting multiple radiators or heaters to avoid overloading the ring main of your property. If you are unsure, contact a qualified electrician for advice. For a professional installation, cables can be shortened and the heater connected to the mains supply by a fused spur. This work must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Warranty

Ecostrad Icon iQ electric radiators come with a 15 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty on the radiator body and a separate 2 years on the electronics.

Due to its weight, this item is delivered on a pallet. All pallets are delivered roadside so please be aware you will need someone on hand to sign for the delivery and move the item into your property. To avoid injury, we strongly recommend having 2 or more people for the lifting.

However, separate dispatches may be necessary if the items you have ordered are being shipped from different locations.
