Ecostrad Ecowärme electric radiators come supplied with a mounting bracket and all necessary fixtures and fittings. Wall mounting your radiator is a simple DIY task and full installation instructions are included in the manual. Simply drill into the wall, position the mounting bracket, and then screw the radiator to the bracket. After that, it’s a matter of plugging the Ecowärme into a standard wall socket.
The Ecostrad Ecowärme has an IP20 rating which does not protect it from the ingress of water. We do not recommend electric radiators or panel heaters for bathroom installation. This is because there is the temptation to hang towels over the appliance to dry, which can obstruct ventilation on the heater and cause a hazard.
Care must always be taken when connecting multiple radiators or heaters to avoid overloading the ring main of your property. If you are unsure, contact a qualified electrician for advice. For a professional installation, cables can be shortened and the heater connected to the mains supply by a fused spur. This work must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Please note: The Ecowärme uses an unenclosed aluminium convection element to deliver fast heat distribution. This can reach higher internal temperatures when compared to other radiator products, however the outer surface temperature is not affected by this and the element cannot be touched. The higher internal heat level can however cause dust particles in the air to burn when they pass through the unit. We recommend in particularly dusty environments cleaning the radiator on a regular basis and where possible minimising the production of dust or smoke to help prevent potential wall blackening.
Please note: the grille at the top of the radiator is designed to be removable, to make the radiator easier to clean. However, if you do want to fix it in place, you can use the pre-drilled holes and a set of suitably sized screws to secure it.
The vertical Ecostrad Ecowärme is the perfect option for homes with limited space, providing modern, energy-efficient heating from a lean, perpendicular frame. Equipped with adaptive start, 24/7 digital programming, and open-window detection, this stylish German electric radiator is a definitive upgrade to conventional heating systems. This 1200w model is able to heat areas up to 12m² for effective heating in mid-sized and larger rooms.
The Ecowärme utilises the perfect balance of convection and radiation, heating objects and people directly as well as the surrounding air. Its specially formulated ceramic heating bricks keep rooms warmer for longer, retaining heat after the radiator has stopped drawing power. These bricks are paired with a highly responsive aluminium convection element that heats the surrounding air, providing robust warmth that gets to work right away. The deep-ribbed design of the Ecowärme also maximises surface area for increased contact with the air, allowing for a better heat transfer. All of this results in superior heat retention combined with fast-acting warmth, as well as improved running costs and greater energy-efficiency. So, to access some of the benefits of ceramic heating at a fraction of the price, the Ecowärme ticks all the boxes.
Ecostrad Ecowärme electric radiators are manufactured to an exceptional standard, with each stage of production assessed, tested, and overseen by a quality control expert. This rigorous approach alleviates manufacturing errors and ensures each individual Ecowärme is as consistent and well-built as the last. Every Ecowärme even comes with a unique code that can be traced back to the manufacturing plant, detailing exactly who made the radiator at each stage to help isolate any discrepancies throughout the process.
Complete with an integrated control panel, 24/7 digital programmer, and a host of energy-saving features, the Ecostrad Ecowärme provides state-of-the-art heating for the modern home. Using the control panel at the side of the radiator, assign comfort, economy, or anti-frost modes to hourly time slots, adjust your set temperatures, and program the timer function. The Ecowärme’s keypad can also be locked to prevent anyone from tampering with your settings.
For improved energy-efficiency, the Ecowärme comes with open window detection and adaptive start. Open window detection stops the Ecowärme from heating if it detects a rapid loss of temperature, often caused by an open window or door. Adaptive start allows the Ecowärme to preheat before it reaches a pre-programmed time, ensuring your electric radiator always reaches the correct temperature at the correct time.
Finished in crisp white, with a traditional fluted body, the Ecowärme is a heating system with universal appeal, slipping unnoticed into any design scheme. Suitable for easy DIY installation, the Ecowärme simply fixes to the wall and plugs into the nearest socket. For intelligent, energy-efficient heating, look no further than the Ecostrad Ecowärme.
The Ecostrad Ecowärme is also available in horizontal orientations and the entire range can be purchased in textured grey anthracite.
Please note: the grille at the top of the radiator is designed to be removable, to make the radiator easier to clean. However, if you do want to fix it in place, you can use the pre-drilled holes and a set of suitably sized screws to secure it.
