The towel rail is pre-fitted with the element on the right-hand side. Controllers and heaters for bathrooms, cloakrooms and wet rooms must be professionally installed by a qualified electrician and are not sold as a DIY product. Always defer to the manufacturer’s guidelines about the bathroom suitability of any product.
Please note: open windows, extractor fans and covering a towel rail, can all impact the heater’s ability to warm a space effectively. Room humidity may also decrease the heat output of your electric towel rail, reducing its effectiveness as a towel dryer.
The Terma Leo SIM Electric Towel Rail is a simple yet elegant bathroom heating solution with its classic straight bar design and attractive chrome finish.
All Terma Leo bathroom heaters are filled with heat-retentive thermal fluid to keep them warmer for longer, using less energy to maintain their heat levels. This version of the Leo comes fitted with a ‘SIM’ element, which heats to a fixed internal temperature of 65°C to ensure luxuriously warm towels whenever they’re required. Its basic on/off control is great for bathrooms used less frequently – perfect for holiday homes or guest cloakrooms that aren’t used all year round.
The Terma Leo SIM features a robust IP67 waterproof protection rating and comes with a 5 year warranty on the heater body and separate 2 year warranty on the heating element.
Electric towel rails and bathroom heaters must always be installed by a professional electrician. However, this is usually a straightforward task with no lengthy callouts required.
