These towel rails come pre-filled with thermal fluid. The element will arrive separately and must be fitted by an electrician. Please ensure that you have both the heater and the element before booking a contractor. The element can be fitted in either side of the rail.

Radiators and towel rails for bathrooms, cloakrooms and wet rooms must be professionally installed by a qualified electrician and are not sold as a DIY product. Always defer to the manufacturer's guidelines about the bathroom suitability of any product.

The fitted depth of this towel rail is 95mm.

Please note: open windows, extractor fans and covering a towel rail, can all impact the heater’s ability to warm a space effectively. Room humidity may also decrease the heat output of your electric towel rail, reducing its effectiveness as a towel dryer.

By downloading the Terma BlueLine app onto your smartphone, you can access various features including 24/7 programming, which allows you to set up a heating schedule that perfectly suits your routine. Using the app, you can also adjust the temperature and check your energy usage statistics all from the palm of your hand, making heat management more convenient than ever.

Highly Efficient Heating

The Scala is pre-filled with heat-retentive thermal oil, ensuring an even distribution of warmth across the body of the heater. The heat is spread evenly between all the bars and struts once it has fully warmed, providing the room with comforting warmth that lasts. This also means less energy is required to continue heating the area, promoting maximum efficiency.

The Scala boasts a number of handy energy-saving tools, allowing you to choose between 5 different heat levels to suit your needs and giving you access to a 2-hour timer function. This setting will automatically switch off the heater once your towels are dry, so you don’t have to manually adjust the heating.

Installation

The Ecostrad Scala Bluetooth Towel Rail is not a DIY product and must always be installed by a professional electrician. The Scala is safe for bathroom use and boasts an impressive IP44 rating, meaning it’s protected against splashes of water. To avoid corrosion, the heater should be installed at least 1 metre away from water sources. Ecostrad Scala Bluetooth Towel Rails come with a generous 5 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty on the towel rail and a separate 2 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty on the element.
