Setting Heating Modes & Temperatures on the Ecostrad iQ WiFi Heating Element
Ecostrad Ascoli Designer Electric Radiators come pre-filled with thermal oil, however, the element will arrive separately and must be installed by a professional electrician. Please ensure that you have both the radiator and the element before booking a contractor for fitting.
These radiators are rated IPX4 and can be installed in bathroom zone 3. The Ascoli must be installed at least 1m away from any source of water in order to protect the finish of the product. Always defer to the manufacturer’s guidelines about the bathroom suitability of any product. The Ascoli is not suitable for DIY fitting and must be installed by a professional electrician, who will need to hardwire it into the mains.
Care must always be taken when connecting multiple radiators or heaters to avoid overloading the ring main of your property. If you are unsure, contact a qualified electrician for advice. For a professional installation, cables can be shortened and the heater connected to the mains supply by a fused spur. This work must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Please allow an additional 82mm to the length of the unit once the heating element has been fitted.
Warranty
Ecostrad Ascoli Designer Electric Radiators come with a 10 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty on the radiator body and a separate 2 Year Warranty on the electrical components.

The Ecostrad Ascoli comes with a WiFi element that enables smart heating. Simply download the SmartLife app onto your device and start programming your heating from your phone. Access a range of energy saving features including a timer mode and 24/7 programming, which allows you to tailor a heating schedule to match your lifestyle perfectly. As long as you have access to the internet, you can manage your heating easily from your phone or smart speaker.
The WiFi heating element features a user-friendly, dimmable LED touchscreen interface for simple manual control. Through this display you can set temperatures and effortlessly switch through different modes to achieve your ideal ambience. You can also access the automatic timer mode, programming the heater so it switches off at a time specified between 0-8 hours, for optimal efficiency and convenience. For safe heating, the element offers a child lock and LST function which can be accessed through ‘radiator mode’.
Installation & Fitting
Ecostrad Ascoli iQ Designer electric radiators come with an IPX4 splashproof rating and can be installed in bathrooms when hardwired by a professional electrician. The radiator body and heating element will arrive as two separate parcels so please ensure that you have both items before booking a contractor installation. An electrician will be required to fit the element to the radiator and hardwire it to the mains.
