The Ecostrad Allerton iQ WiFi Electric Radiator is not suitable for DIY fitting and must be installed by a qualified electrician. It comes pre-filled with thermal oil, though the element will arrive separately and must be installed by a professional. Please ensure that you have both the radiator and the element before booking a contractor for fitting.
Rated IPX4, the Ecostrad Allerton iQ can be installed in zone 2 or 3 of any bathroom. The radiator must be installed at least 1m away from any source of water in order to protect the finish of the product. Always defer to the manufacturer’s guidelines for bathroom suitability of any product.
Allerton iQ radiators require a two-person installation due to their weight. The fixtures supplied with each unit are for use on solid walls. If you intend to hang the Allerton iQ on a stud or partition wall, you must consult a professional beforehand. They will be able to judge whether your wall will bear the weight of the heater and advise on the appropriate fixtures required.
The radiator must be hardwired into a fused spur. Attaching a plug to the cable will void the warranty. This Allerton iQ is designed for horizontal installation only.
Please allow an additional 82mm to the length of the unit once the heating element has been fitted.
Combining traditional design and modern programming, this glossy white version of the Ecostrad Allerton iQ is capable of heating areas up to 10m². Its low triple column build makes it the ultimate space-saver, perfect for conservatories and rooms with low-level walls.
Pre-filled with an engineered thermal oil, fluid levels are calculated extremely carefully to account for the Allerton iQ’s specialist triple column design. The extra thickness requires a higher volume of fluid, which results in a higher heat output for your space. Improved heat retention and slower cool-down times make the efficiency of the Allerton iQ second-to-none. Fitted with both an internal radiator sensor and an external room sensor, the Allerton iQ works at optimal precision, allowing for reliable, accurate-temperature heating 24/7.
Equipped with the intuitive Ecostrad iQ WiFi Element, the Allerton iQ offers complete in-depth control. Compatible with the Ecostrad Ecosystem and Smart Life app, WiFi control allows you to tailor your heating to your lifestyle – any time, any place, from any smart device. 24/7 programming, Comfort and Eco modes, and an 8-hour timer function are a few of the energy-saving features on offer that can be adjusted remotely with a simple swipe or tap. With Smart Life, you can also pair your radiator to a smart speaker for hands-free voice control.
A discreet oval design, flatscreen display and touchscreen interface make up the expertly refined Ecostrad iQ WiFi Element. Its integrated precision thermostat accurately measures room temperature within ± 0.5 °C, and its internal radiator thermostat allows for a timer option of up to 8 hours – perfect for use as a 2-in-1 heating and drying option.
Suitable for installation in bathrooms, the Ecostrad Allerton iQ comes with an IPX4 splashproof rating. Fitting this radiator is not a DIY task – it must be hardwired to the mains by a professional electrician. Care must be taken not to spill any fluid when fitting the heating element to the radiator: the volume is precisely worked out to give enough room for the liquid to expand, but not so much room that the fluid cannot disperse around the unit.
Allerton iQ radiators require professional two-person installation due to their weight. The fixtures supplied with each unit are for use on solid walls.
