COVID-19 Information for Customers

In light of the current situation, Electric Radiators Direct would like to update our customers on the steps we are taking to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Please find some FAQs below.

Can I still place orders?

Yes. It’s business as usual here at Electric Radiators Direct, so you can still order online and we will still deliver to you. As always, delivery times and details are provided on each product page so make sure you check this when it comes to making your purchase.

Is there a delay with deliveries?

As a rule, our couriers have been able to operate close to normal capacity despite the challenges posed by the pandemic. However, there is still some chance that delays relating to the national crisis may affect deliveries on a case by case basis. Should an order be delayed, we will strive to keep customers informed and will work flexibly should alternative arrangements be required. We thank our customers for their understanding in these cases.

Am I still able to receive deliveries?

Yes, you can still receive deliveries from Electric Radiators Direct. As Public Health England have explained, currently there is no evidence to indicate that the virus can spread through packages as this type of virus cannot survive long on objects such as parcels.

I need to organise a collection. What happens if I am self-isolating?

When organising a collection, please let our friendly customer service team know if you are self-isolating or if somebody in your home is showing symptoms of COVID-19 so that the collection can be arranged for a later date. As long as the item meets other terms of our returns policy, we will happily honour late returns. You can access our handy returns form here.

Will you still deliver if I’m self-isolating?

Yes, we will still deliver, however our couriers will take extra safety precautions to help minimise the spread of the virus.

What steps are the couriers taking to mitigate the spread of COVID-19?

Customers will no longer have to use any hand-held devices to sign for items. Instead, our couriers will simply log the name and location of the person taking receipt of the delivery. Items will be left outside front doors and reception areas. Couriers will knock or call for attention before moving to a safe distance to speak with any customer while an item is retrieved.

The same precautions will be applied to our collection services.
