Setting Heating Modes & Temperatures on the Ecostrad iQ WiFi Heating Element

Rated IPX4, the Ecostrad Allerton iQ Electric Towel Rail can be installed in zone 2 or 3 of any bathroom. Radiators and towel rails for bathrooms, cloakrooms and wet rooms must be professionally installed by a qualified electrician and are not sold as a DIY product. It must be installed at least 1m away from any source of water in order to protect the finish of the product. Always defer to the manufacturer’s guidelines for bathroom suitability of any product.

These towel rails come pre-filled with thermal fluid. The element will arrive separately and must be fitted by an electrician. Please ensure that you have both the heater and the element before booking a contractor. The element can be fitted in either side of the rail.

The Allerton iQ Towel Rail must be attached to the floor using screws. You must ensure there are no pipes, underfloor heating or other wiring under the floor before installing the towel rail.

Please note: open windows, extractor fans and covering a towel rail, can all impact the heater’s ability to warm a space effectively. Room humidity may also decrease the heat output of your electric towel rail, reducing its effectiveness as a towel dryer.

Warranty

Ecostrad Allerton iQ WiFi Traditional Electric Towel Rails come with a 10 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty on the towel rail and a separate 2 Year Warranty on the element itself.

Ecostrad iQ WiFi Heating Element

With a sleek flatscreen interface, rounded design and clear LED display, the Allerton iQ’s heating element pairs modern design with simple usability. Featuring a precision thermostat accurate to ± 0.5 °C, it efficiently regulates temperature to ensure your desired heat levels are always maintained. When you’re not using WiFi app control, the set temperature and timer can both be adjusted directly through the heating element.

Installation & Fitting

This towel rail comes with an IPX4 rating meaning it’s protected against splashes of water and suitable for installation in zone 2 and 3 of any bathroom. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician as the Allerton iQ towel rail can only be hardwired to a fused spur.
