The Ecostrad iQ Glass Electric Panel Heater is supplied with a mounting bracket and a set of feet, enabling it to be used wall mounted or free standing. Wall mounting your electric heater is a simple DIY task and full installation instructions are included in the manual. Simply mark the position of the mounting bracket on the wall, attach the bracket to your panel heater, ensure the bracket is locked in position, and then screw the heater to the wall. After that, it’s a matter of plugging the heater into a standard wall socket.
The iQ Electric Glass Panel Heater has an IP24 rating which protects it from splashing water. Regardless of this, we do not recommend electric radiators or panel heaters for bathroom installation. This is because there is the temptation to hang towels over the appliance to dry, which can obstruct ventilation on the heater and cause a hazard.
Care must always be taken when connecting multiple radiators or heaters to avoid overloading the ring main of your property. If you are unsure, contact a qualified electrician for advice. For a professional installation, cables can be shortened and the heater connected to the mains supply by a fused spur. This work must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Heating Technology
The iQ Glass panel heater uses simple lightweight aluminium elements in the back of the heater to warm the surrounding air, circulating it around the room for quick results. Using the touchscreen interface on the front of the heater, select comfort, economy, or anti-frost modes depending on the level of heating you require. These modes can be individually adjusted, allowing you to tailor your heating to your exact needs and are always kept at the right level using the iQ's digital room thermostat. Low and high power settings can also be selected to restrict the iQ’s energy usage whenever you want to economise. Switch it to its lower 1kW setting for a gradual heat-up that uses less power, or select its higher 2kW setting to warm rooms as quickly as possible. To ensure your settings aren’t tampered with, the touchscreen panel can be locked: a useful safety feature for those with small children.
WiFi Heating Control
The iQ Glass electric heater supports WiFi control through the Smart Life app, without the need to purchase an additional gateway device. Simply download the app to a compatible smartphone or tablet and you can make instantaneous adjustments to your heating wherever you are, providing you have an internet connection. Through the app you can view the current room temperature, turn your heater on/off, adjust the set temperature, cycle through heater modes, and access the programming menu. The glass panel heater is also compatible with the Amazon Echo for voice activated use. Installation
The mounting bracket, attachable feet, and all fixtures and fittings are included with your purchase. Every iQ Glass panel heater has a 1.5m power cable and a UK fitted plug for easy DIY installation. Simply unbox your heater, plug it into the nearest 13A socket, and enjoy the benefits of rapid convection heating and intelligent WiFi control.
